Monthly & quarterly Programs

As Is told

A quarterly showcase of local, national and (occasionally) international professional storytellers. Includes a post-performance talk back.

Duke City Story slam

True stories told on a theme by Featured & Open Mic storytellers. Pitch a story or throw your name in the hat! Top scores take home prizes. On the 2nd Tuesday of every January, March, May, July, September and November.

story crafters and crafting

Be it a germ of an idea, a partial story, or completed story that needs a run-through, STNM story crafter/crafting evenings are opportunities to build stories while building community. Held monthly in Santa Fe and ABQ.


annual & special programs

tellabration

A worldwide evening of storytelling held every November that creates a network of stories and storytellers connected at the same time and on the same weekend. Produced in partnership with the National Storytelling Network.

STNM workshopS

STNM offers workshops as part of our educational mission. Workshops are geared toward those who want to to improve their storytelling skills and/or who want to learn about the history, art, and practice storytelling.

world storytelling day

A global celebration of storytelling with a goal of as many people as possible around the world telling and listening to stories on the same theme, at the same time. Held annually, traditionally on the March equinox.
