ALBUQUERQUE FOLK FESTIVAL - SEPTEMBER 28, 2025
The Albuquerque Folk Festival is an annual festival featuring music, dance, and storytelling presented through performances, workshops, jams, and so much more across the grounds of the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 2025 is going to be a great festival including storytelling with STNM members and others.
STORYTELLING ALL DAY ON SEPTEMBER 28 FROM 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM
This year’s Storytelling Lineup includes Tall tales with Mary O’Nette, Scheherazade told by Batya Podos, Santa Fe tellers, Regina Ress & Lucinda deLorimier, plus Cowboy Poet Paul PJ Ross, and STNM’s own, Eldrena Douma, of Laguna. Texas Storytelling Association teller, Decee Cornish, will finish up the day with his set, “Once Upon a Time While I Was Sitting on a Nickel.”
