Storytellers of New Mexico, Inc. (STNM) invites you to an evening of stories celebrating World Storytelling Day at the Adobe Theater on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Every year, through an international vote, tellers from across the globe decide on a common theme for this Equinoctial celebration.  This year the chosen theme is Light in the Darkness.  Our worldwide, and local, goal is to tell as many moving stories… to as many listeners… as possible.  So we are eager to bring you into our circle!

Featured Tellers: Three tellers who have traveled through many storied lands have volunteered to offer a story gift to you.  Watch this site for updates.

 Fundraiser for KUNM: STNM is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization, partnering with the Adobe Theater (also a nonprofit organization) to produce this event.  All proceeds will go to KUNM 89.9 FM Community Powered Public Radio, to support broadcast news, music, and other community information.  As KUNM says… the station “offers what only local public radio can successfully achieve. – the voices of the community for the community.”
