Mark Binder * Izzy Abrahmson’s Lying, Storytelling & Books Tour

You know those stories you tell yourself?

And the ones that other people tell about you?

Mark Binder, whose pen name is Izzy Abrahmson, is an award winning storyteller and author. Join us for a solo show full of tales, tunes, and talk of the power of changing stories to transform how we live. You’ll hear stories from an urban Cinderella to a Jewish village on the edge of the Black Forest to a dive bar in Manhattan - a blending of spoken word and music. “You Can’t Sing” is an uplifting show about upgrading the stories we tell ourselves.

Mark/Izzy will be joined onstage by Jordan Wax, accordionist and Yiddish songster from New Mexico’s high desert. As a member of the band, Lone Pinon, Wax is an award winning musician who has performed at the Library of Congress, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and with Itzhak Perlman.
