Back Porch Reading: Loren Niemi & Christine Mounts in Person

Jules Poetry Playhouse pairs up two poets to share their latest work and follow up with discussion. Authors will share their artistic process, their writing, and what they’re up to.

Loren Niemi: Poet and storyteller: “Storytelling is my life’s work. I’ve explored the power of narrative and the beauty of poetry to illuminate what it is to be human and why it matters.” Loren is a New Mexico native who has sojourned in Albuquerque, taught and told stories through Storytellers of New Mexico and the now defunct Liar’s Game. We welcome Loren back to the Land of Enchantment!

Christine Mounts is co-founder of The American School of Storytelling, based in Minneapolis, Mn. She is an IT professional by day and an aspiring author by night.
