Albuquerque Folk Festival 2021

  • Bosque School 4000 Bosque School Road NorthWest Albuquerque, NM, 87120 United States (map)

The Albuquerque Folk Festival will once again be held at the beautiful Bosque School campus as an outdoor, all day, public event on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Visitors will experience live music, song circles, dancing, storytelling, crafts, and wonderful food. This festival will be a great opportunity for our fellow Burqueños to share their skills, songs, steps, stories and vibes within a multi-generational community event.

The festival has dedicated a storytelling stage on the green behind the school buildings. Storytelling sessions begin at 10:30 am, last approximately 45 minutes, and run all throughout the day. Stories run the gamut of all styles and genres. The more diverse the lineup, the better.

Check out the website at www.abqfolkfest.org, where you can apply to perform!

Congrats to the STNM Members who are featured in this year’s Folk Fest!

The storytelling stage of the ABQ Folk Fest is organized by member, Dianne Rossbach.
