Enjoy three separate events at this year’s annual Storytelling Festival:
STORYTELLING WORKSHOP: Creating Stories Quickly with STNM Professional Teller/Board Member, Eldrena Douma from 10:00 AM to Noon
Participants will construct a story, first in a group, then individually, that has never been told, written or read. Simple techniques and inexpensive tools/props will be provided. Using one’s imagination for quick creative thinking will help develop a written story. The goal of this workshop is to challenge the participants to think quickly and creatively in a short time period to write a basic story.
Admission: $30 SOMOS members/$40 Non-Members. Students 18 and under attend for free.
