Enjoy three separate events at this year’s annual Storytelling Festival:

STORYTELLING WORKSHOP: Creating Stories Quickly with STNM Professional Teller/Board Member, Eldrena Douma from 10:00 AM to Noon

Participants will construct a story, first in a group, then individually, that has never been told, written or read. Simple techniques and inexpensive tools/props will be provided. Using one’s imagination for quick creative thinking will help develop a written story. The goal of this workshop is to challenge the participants to think quickly and creatively in a short time period to write a basic story.

Admission: $30 SOMOS members/$40 Non-Members. Students 18 and under attend for free.

COMMUNITY STORYSWAP - FREE! from 2:00 - 3:30 PM

Location: Hacienda Martinez, 708 Hacienda Rd., Taos, NM

A free community Story Swap facilitated by Storytellers of New Mexico. Come one, come all, ti listen and/or share a story to a welcoming and warm audience.

COMMUNITY STORYTELLING EVENT WITH: Sage Vogel, Celinda Reynolds Kaelin, Musician Chuy Martinez & Featured teller, Eldrena Douma.

Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Admission: $5 donation requested at the door

Included: Traditional Northern New Mexico dinner
