Not just wide openings, but like open arms inviting us in or out, gateways often promise possibilities. Setting off on the journey, or a welcome home. The month of January is named for Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, endings, transitions and doorways. So here we go, through this gateway into a new year. Gateway stories abound.
